The song is a remembrance to all the individual New Zealand Men and Women in the New Zealand armed forces that made the ultimate sacrifice and is also dedicated to those that may in the future, while they proudly wear the New Zealand uniform
The song spotlights a typical kiwi that joins the New Zealand Military. Late last year the New Zealand Army band had a world premier of "New Zealand Soldier" at the Michael Fowler center in Wellington during the Christmas Festival. This is an original autographed version.
